Bikepark Ochsenkopf
Ochsenkopf trail centre
The Ochsenkopf is not officially designated as a trail centre, but there are designated hiking trails in all directions that can be ridden officially. The trails are varied in terms of character and demands, from rocky and blocked in the summit area to flowing and sometimes rooty in the lower regions. Difficult passages in the summit area can always be bypassed via forest tracks or easy routes. The trails are also all linked to the paths on and around the surrounding Fichtelgebirge peaks such as Schneeberg, Kösseine or Waldstein, so you can extend your biking experience almost indefinitely. You can get information about the best routes, including information on technical difficulty levels, at the Bullhead House.
The Ochsenkopf Südlift with bike transport can also be perfectly integrated into the trail tours. The first ride with the lift, then zigzag down the trails with intermediate climbs in “enduro style” and back to the lift. There are numerous variations here too!
