Lake.bike invests year-round to expand its mountain bike infrastructure and related services. The tasks are clear: legalise new trails, create new tours, expand the partner network to create the perfect environment for mountain bikers (of all levels and ages). Responsible for maintenance are shapers and, above all, Villach’s amazing mountain bike community. Click here to see which trails are open. Use of the mountain bike trails in general is allowed from 01 May to 15 September from 09:00 to 19:00 and from 16 September to 31 October from 09:00 to 17:00 at your own risk, only with a suitable bike and with protective equipment.

Each trail has its own character and is waiting to be tried and ridden. The family-friendly flow trails – Flowgartner Trail and Lowgartner Trai – are suitable for beginners. With the Ischnig Trail, Shorty Trail, Kopein Trail, Latschacher Trail (part II) and Samonigg Trail (part I), five trails of medium difficulty are available. For advanced bikers, the Latschacher Trail (part II) and Samonigg Trail (part I) are really fun.

If you want to improve your riding technique, the “areaone – Mountain Bike Skillcenter” is a perfect option. There, you can train your skills on 6 short trails of varying difficulty. If you want to join a course, contact one of our guides!
